Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PMAP (pechmap.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

PMAP is a subsidiary of Pech Group Holdings ("PMAP", "we", "us"). Built by Africans, for Africans.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PMAP. By using the platform you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.

3. Platform Services

PMAP provides the following services:

  • Address registration: Assign a unique Pmap code to any building in Africa
  • Navigation: Map-based routing and place discovery
  • Pech Pay: Digital wallet, QR payments, and money transfers
  • Hotels & Stays: Hotel booking and management
  • Logistics: Delivery ordering from registered sellers
  • Ride: Connecting riders with transport providers
  • Developer API: Programmatic access to PMAP data and services

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in fraudulent activity.

5. Pech Pay Financial Services

  • Pech Pay is a stored-value wallet service. Funds held are not insured by NDIC.
  • KYC verification is required for transactions above regulatory thresholds per CBN guidelines.
  • We reserve the right to freeze wallets suspected of money laundering or fraud, and to report suspicious activity to the EFCC and other authorities.
  • Withdrawal requests are subject to review and may take up to 3 business days.

6. Address Data

Address codes you register are tied to physical locations and become part of the PMAP address dataset. By registering an address you confirm you have the right or permission to do so for that property. False registrations may be removed without notice.

7. Developer API

API access is subject to rate limits and fair use. Sandbox API keys must not be used in production. We may suspend API keys used to scrape data, abuse quotas, or violate these terms. API usage fees are billed monthly per the Developer pricing schedule.

8. Prohibited Uses

You must not use PMAP to:

  • Commit fraud, money laundering, or finance terrorism
  • Register false addresses or impersonate properties
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the platform
  • Violate the rights of other users
  • Circumvent rate limits or security measures

9. Limitation of Liability

PMAP is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pech Group Holdings is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for direct damages shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PMAP operates. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or by binding arbitration where required by local law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
